Keychains
I send this to the Guildwars community...
Dear Mr/Ms.
Yesterday I was playing guildwars with my new factions character and was astounded by the beauty of the game.. Though everything was fine, I came up with an idea that could be really usefull. With my other 3 characters, who are lvl 20, I sometimes had the idea keys unnecessary took place in my inventory.. When I had 5 different keys it took 5 slots..
That's why I thought of a keychain, where you can put up to 5 different keys with an unlimited amount. In this way, slots will be free for materials and such.
I even thought a bit further, though it's hard to imagine you would do it, but you can make golden or purple key chains wich will increase the amount of money dropped by enemy's or increase the amount of rare and uncommon items on particular enemy's.
For example: Keychain of Fortune: +10% money dropped by enemy's.
Or: Robbing Keychain of the Tengu: +1% chance for dropping rare on tengu's.
In my opinion this will give an extra dimension for chest running or farming.. You can even put bad luck charms on keychains so not every keychain will be worth over 100k
I hope you enjoyed my idea and thanks for listening..
With kind regards

That reaction is what everyone gets. "blah blah, very closely"
Anyway, don't we have those scrolls for that? At least for the Exp? It would be better if your suggestion would have been for scrolls that give: gold, items etc.
Not bad idea.

That would not fix the problem i had with 5 different kinds of keys that filled up my inventory and scrolls are mostly temporary..

idk about the +X% to do Y, but i like the keychains, especially because you run around a lot in factions, i have forbiddon, Kurzick, Jade, Deep keys, Urgoz keys (forget what their called) and then always have one for FoW and UW on me usually if a guildie wants to go into them. I like this suggestion, simple and useful.

I'd like to have keychains, but the icon slot would become small though. It should have the same principals as identification or salvage kits, you can add up to 100 keys on a superior key ring for like 2k. And make it so that you can only add up to 100 keys, meaning even if you had 100 keys and youre down to 45, then you're not allowed to add more.
The counter to this problem is by going back to the merchant and buying another key ring. Stack the key ring onto your existing one to renew the amount of keys you can put on it. For example:
Keychain - 200g - 10 keys
Expert Key Chain - 500g - 25 keys
Superior Key Chain - 2000g - 100 keys
In your inventory
Keychain without keys [newly bought keychain]...
Keychain: 100 slots available, 0 keys inserted
Keychain full of keys...
Keychain: 0 slots available, 100 keys inserted
Partially used keychain...
Keychain: 0 slots available, 24 keys inserted
Buy an expert key chain and stack it onto your key...
Keychain: 25 slots available, 24 keys inserted
of course, if you dont replenish it, and you end up with 0 slots available with no keys, your keyring is destroyed.
The only problem is, you're less likely to carry 100 keys than 100 kits for salvaging... so...
Edit: I know^^ only make superior key rings stack with its own kind, so you cant stak an expert with a superior and get mroe slots that way, that would be good. But it would make the prices not worth buying for, maybe reduce the cost of the keyrings to that of ID kits?

That's a good idea, but what if you have 5 different keys on 1 keychain, then it's much easier to make a slot just like a bag or belt pouch.. In my humble opinion it would be better to make a slot for 5 different keys with a max of 25 keys for each type
